Andreas Schmieg spent many years of his professional life in responsible positions in the economy before switching to the consulting side in 2013. The combination of entrepreneurial experience and acquired knowledge of insolvency law forms the basis for supporting companies as CRO with corporate responsibility or as general authorized representative.
Together with the horizon-re team, he supports management and those responsible in the companies to be restructured or during a self-administration procedure, with a focus on on-site support within the company.
The challenges for companies vary greatly from industry to industry and from company to company. Therefore, the task is to quickly understand the situation of the structure to be supported and, based on an extensive "toolbox," to find and implement tailored solutions in restructuring and reorganization.

Mediation is a structured, out-of-court procedure for dispute resolution between two or more parties. Especially in complex and poorly structured disputes, mediation is used nationally and internationally as an alternative to purely legal disputes. In restructuring projects, as well as in pure self-administration and regular insolvency proceedings, there are also complex disputes that have a high prospect of dispute resolution for the benefit of creditors due to the speed and simplicity of the procedure.
